As the heading of this e-mail I used the Latin phrase, elige magistrum - it means "choose a master." I first became aware of this phrase when I was studying Catharism and the mysteries of Rennes-le-Chateau. It shows up many times in the belief systems of duality, but it is the lynchpin of making the energies of the world work for you.

Who is your master?

In the ancient societies, this question was about choosing between spirit and matter, heaven and earth. But I think now, at the dawn of the 21st century, it means something else, perhaps. For me, this phrase reminds us to choose ourselves as master, but in service to the Divine. To remember that we create all that surrounds us, we are the masters of our destinies and futures. But only if we choose ourselves. Otherwise, we allow ourselevs to be mastered by external forces and the will of others.

Which brings me next to the age old question form Arthurian Legend - who does the Grail Serve? Who do you serve? Once you choose yourself as master, you must also choose yourself as servant. By mastering yourself, who or what do you serve? All alchemical and metaphysical requests require service to the Divine. So this is the time to re-dedicate yourself to whatever spiritual service/path you choose.

I hope you will keep all of these things in your minds, and that they might help you, during these magnificent - and sometimes trying - times.

You know how I always say that Mary Magdalene is our poster girl for what happened to disempower women? Well, essentially the fall of Troy is an epic portrayal of imbalance, as was Atlantis. I MUST get the Sekhmet material up on line no later than the Summer Solstice because it will be easier when we can refer back to it. She says in the Emerald Tablets that the war between god and goddess will be waged, and there will be much destruction because of it. But more importantly she says this "It is a war of illusion that exists only in the human psyche. Because there is no war among the Divine. Great nations will implode as a result of these battles, some quickly and some with painful slowness. The restoration of balance between the male and female energies on Earth is the single minded goal of the truly blessed and powerful Earthling."

In other words, there is only war between the God energies for us as humans. We create that reality, where one does not need to exist. And that is true on a larger, global scale in terms of human relationship.
