That was the last Ms. Maddie heard from Olivia Peyton, be it via electronic letters, phone calls or the Forum. The Belgian had been surprised that her ex-friend had posted at all, for she knew from her loyal spies that Miss O had returned to the States following the September 11th tragedy. Madeline wondered exactly what was going on, then decided to ignore the instrusion - until of course, Lone Star rode onto the scene - and caused the suspicious Salamander to wonder if her new swain might be the Cybersybil in disguise?

Thoroughly intrigued, Maddie decided to email Miss O, although her cyber-missive was later that day returned as undeliverable. "Hmm...something is up," Madeline frowned. "Could Olivia be in league to wreak havoc with that know-it-all, smartypants, Miss 22?"

Just then, Aristophanes' bell began to ring uncontrollably, causing Madeline to start and log-on to the discussion at soterika.biz tout de suite.
