Dali
Even so The Divine Dali already called into question the U.N.
by suggesting during the May revolution that the place be
turned into a whorehouse.

As it's obvious that it's a place solely dedicated to the night,
I proposed this startling innovation:
that the U.N. be turned into a pleasure spot.

It's also necessary to remind you
that during the time of Louis XIV*
Ledoux, the greatest architect of the period
had designed a pleasure palace
- that is sometimes referred to most vulgarly as a whorehouse -
in the shape of a phallus
in which the concierge, I believe,
lived in one of the testicles.

Ledoux's vision

The plans exist
and Ledoux, who was a magnificent architect,
was somehow stopped
by the bourgeoism nascent in the French Revolution;
what else was the French Revolution but
the transformation of the aristocracy into the bourgeoisie.
It was the apotheosis of bourgeois culture.

Ledoux's Temple of Love: Oikema

And thanks to Marilyn Monroe and Mao
there might be new monarchies
with anarchic ferment.

Reciter
On a stylized set
placed in the middle of an incredible
brouhaha there is a choir, ballet
dancers and Dali, who is painting a
dominical scene
while Gala goes up and down in an
elevator without stopping.

*In actuality, Ledoux worked during the reign of Louis XV.
