Marie Negre, who in fact was Miss Olivia's friend 22, was very surprised one morning late in May to receive an earnest email, addressed to her as the leader of the Daughters of Maria Magdalena, from an unsuspecting CyberSybil. Miss O asked if her superior might lend her an insight into the nature of the Emerald Tablets, so that she might better help their mutual friend recover Sister 22's stolen work in the days to come.

Touched that Olivia was planning an expedition to the Land of the Green Ray, which she thought to be located at Rennes-le-Chateau, 22 read on concerning the efforts being launched to gather a small but determined army comprised of Duke, Lexi, Bruce, the Professor and of course, Machete and Stingray, the infamous Scorpio Sisters.

"Dear Miss Olivia," Marie Negre began to type after some thought, "allow me to tell you a true story about a genuine fragment of the Emerald Tablets, a tale that may aid you on your quest while in France."

"Years ago, before I knew about the Emerald Tablets, I used to dream about a green stone. I'd had visions of it for ages, never knowing what it was. For a long time I wondered if it was Connemara Marble from Ireland because it was similar in coloring and texture. Because of my Celtic genetics, this conclusion made sense. I didn't know it was an Emerald, because it was in its raw state and didn't look very distinctive."
